We can identify each individual by their mind. Our mind is something unique to us. It encompasses the arrangement of our thoughts in our unique library. But what is mind made of? The mind is built around the screen of consciousness. It is this screen that is responsible for allowing us to experience the various things of life.
An individual consciousness is actually a limitation of the Cosmic consciousness. We have understood earlier that cosmic consciousness is the dimension of all possibilities, it consists of the infinity of the universe. When the cosmic consciousness is limited, to a certain belief system, a set of conditionings and perceptions and so on, it forms into an individual consciousness that is a part of a particular mind.
This consciousness further expresses itself as the physical body that becomes the means through which the consciousness absorbs signals from the external environment and perceives them. Our consciousness surrounds our soul and is further surrounded by our body. This three layered system of our existence is our true building block.

Our mind is a storage unit, it consists of systems that allow us to perceive things and store them in a certain way. It allows us to formulate our thoughts and express them in the correct manner. For instance, say you are a Honey expert, you know everything about bees, are aware of bee culture, have knowledge about honey and its components and can identify everything that is related to the knowledge of bees. This is your mind in play. You know things, you understand things and can make those connections based on your understanding. That’s your mind. However, what if you haven’t ever tasted honey. Would your knowledge about Honey be complete ?
Your consciousness becomes the screen that allows you to have the experience of Honey as you taste it, and also allows you to store this experience in your mind. This experience matches the experience of honey in the cosmic consciousness and connects your mind to its identification.
